Robots nowadays continue to undergo intensive research and development to push it to the limits and explore the possibilities it can perform. Nowadays you can see them perform specific tasks like manufacturing products in a factory, playing sports, transportation and even medical fields. Wi-fi has been widely used for years now. Its main purpose is to surf the internet wireless through routers that are called hotspots. Since the routers can be detected by a computer for a great distance it is used for different applications. The group utilizes all of the current technologies that people regularly use like Wi-fi, cameras, remote controlled cars and accelerometer. Integrating them together to make a simple surveillance system that can be navigated easily by the use of joystick for mobile robot control and accelerometer for camera controls based on head movements. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/14690 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Mobile robots Electronic surveillance Automatic tracking Robot vision Robots--Control systems |
