Recent trends and various studies show that there is an increase of job turnover rates all over the country. This study focuses on possible reasons as well as probable solutions to the problem. An aspect that may contribute to a solution is organizational commitment. This study looked into how organizational commitment can decrease the turnover and allow companies to be able to keep their employees. This study examines the different factors that may contribute to organizational commitment as well as to allow it to flourish in employees in the service industry. To understand what contributes to organizational commitment can help an organization grow and prosper. The sample of the study included 185 Filipino rank and file employees from various organizations in the service industry. The sample of employees ranges from 20 years old and above with varying years of working in their current company, they were chosen by convenience sampling. The study wanted to see how the relationships between emotional intelligence, job security, and job satisfaction on organizational commitment.
