Description
Summary:This thesis project is a computerized business game entitled INTERTRADE which is a simulated game of foreign exchange, specifically international trade, patterned after an existing board game (Foreign Exchange: The International Money Game). The objective of this study is mainly to provide a training technique preparing individuals in the dynamic processes of decision-making, analysis, creation of feedback and planning as well as to provide a role experience that allows individuals to undertake events and positions without actually experiencing real risks such as losing money and resources. The group did a lot of research and informal interviews to serve as a basis for the development of the said business game's software package. Several revisions were made to the existing board game. Graphics and music were also used to make the package more interesting.
