Constantino, Marc Jullian M. De Guzman, Chris Joshua L. ANVIC Construction Inc. was established in January 24, 1985 to engage in construction and engineering services. The study specifically focuses on the installation process of the company from January 2013-June 2014. Based on its present system and SWOT analysis, the company is experiencing workmanship non-conformances which results to rework cost of Php2,698,718.26. To address this problem a why-why diagram was used to analyze the cause of the problem in each of the 6 projects. It was determined that they experience these problems because of the poor progress monitoring of each project, the lack of supervisory and management skills of higher level managers, and the poor inventory management being implemented by the company. The solutions that were chosen after performing the Kepner Tregoe decision analysis was the monitoring using the Kanban system, providing training and sending foremen to seminars, and implementing an inventory management and tracking system that will ensure that all raw materials would be present in time for scheduled installation. By implementing of the proposed solutions, the company would be able to reduce and eliminate their problem of incurring rework due to workmanship. Furthermore, all proposed solutions can be implemented within 3 months. It was computed that the processed solution have a net present value of Php2,632,118.26. 2015-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7274 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Engineering systems Industrial engineering ANVIC Construction Philippines Inc Industrial Engineering |
