Description
Summary:The study assessed the organizational culture and perceived performance of a professional services firm in the Philippines. Implications of which were identified and interventions on the management and human resources level were proposed. A survey questionnaire was administered to 462 employees from the subject company to obtain organizational culture and perceived performance results. Then, 10 key people were invited to participate in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to solicit and derive interventions for the organization. Results showed that the organization scored high in all four cultural traits of the Denison Model. The results on perceived organizational performance are extensive between below average to high average. The intervention proposed on the management level is to conduct a vision-mission review. As for the human resources level, conduct a “Coaching Workshop”, customer service survey, employee satisfaction study and re-evaluation of “People First” initiatives.
