Thus, this action research restructured the onboarding program to improve skills of data analysts to ensure that they achieve a satisfactory audit rating. Their improved skills are expected to create organizational impact in terms of avoiding delays, producing quality reports, and establishing a more accurate employee benefits database. To establish a successful onboarding, our action research team was guided by Bauer’s (2010) four levers, namely, self-efficacy, role clarity, social integration, and knowledge of the culture, and her research-based model of onboarding.
