This study aimed to examine the concurrent validity of self-concept in predicting students' achievement in mathematics and language. Data were collected from 40m female students of Night College Department of De La Salle University taking up Computer Secretarial. The study is said to be a concurrent validity study because the test and the criterion data were collected at almost the same time and were already existing. The results indicated that there was no significant relationship between self-concept and students' achievement. Hence, self-concept may not be a good predictor of students' achievement. 1995-09-01T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/6072 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etd_masteral/article/13190/viewcontent/TG03048_F_Partial.pdf Master's Theses English Animo Repository Academic achievement Mathematics Language and languages Teachers—Training of Effective teaching Educational Assessment, Evaluation, and Research
