The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Job Satisfaction on organizational commitment specifically to assistant professors of the Colleges/School/Departments (Br. Andrew Gonzales College of Education, College of Computer Studies, College of Law, College of liberal Arts, College of Science, Gokongwei College of Engineering, Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business, and School of Economics) in De La Salle University – Manila. Through this study, it is found that job satisfaction develops or affects the organizational commitment of the employees. However, with regards to the correlation of job satisfaction and organizational commitment these two are somewhat contradicting. There is either correlation, or no correlation, or perhaps partial (not absolute) correlation.
