Summary: | The study is grounded on multiple descriptive case study design which utilized triangulation as a data collection method which was to explore how cooperative learning was experienced by Chinese students in Metro Manila, The study engaged a total of 16 respondents who were Chinese students from three private universities in Metro Manila. The findings show how Chinese students understood cooperative learning in three private schools. Five major categories emerged from the analytical process. Five major categories are: collaborative learning process, interaction in learning process, accountability for the learning process, interpersonal and communication skills and challenge experienced. An implication for schools is for the teachers to professionally guide students in the process of cooperative learning. Further research is recommended in implementing cooperative learning in college teaching.
