The main purpose of the study was to discover the principals' leadership behavior strengths and weaknesses, and to propose some measures of strengthening the weaknesses. The subjects of the study were 317 teachers who evaluated a number of principals (11): six of which were in non-sectarian (non-Catholic) secondary schools, and five were sectarian (Catholic) secondary schools in the fourth district of Metro Manila. A questionnaire, which was originally constructed, was the main instrument used and supplemented by an interview. The data gathered from the questionnaire were then tabulated in terms of frequencies and percentages for five categories.
