Vocational schools play a major role in the realization of the plan of building up an ever skilled and literate labor force. However, there is, among vocational school personnel, especially those concerned with mathematics teaching and shop work that the present curriculum stand in need of reshaping. An area in the present curriculum which to require immediate attention is precisely that of Mathematics. In this connection, this paper aims at presenting some mathematical topics for senior students in vocational schools. These topics deal on the fundamental operations, fractions, linear equations, quadratic equations, and logarithms with explanations, diagrams and examples. The present writer believes that these topics are not basic for the study of Algebra but also very useful for a prospective tradesman. 1976-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/712 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Algebra--Study and teaching Vocational education Technical education Algebra Vocational Education
