Chemical constituents of Terminalia microcarpa Decne
Chemical investigation of the dichloromethane extract of the air-dried leaves of Terminalia microcarpa led to the isolation of squalene (1), lutein (2) and fatty alcohols. The structures of these compounds were identified by comparison of their 1H NMR data with those reported in the literature.
