Summary:There seems to be no limit on what technology can do and is capable of doing in transforming our lives no and in the future. IT scholars and experts continue to discover, develop, and explore the many other areas where technology can simplify, if not totally replace the human function. In education, the controversy over pedagogical theories and approaches in terms of bridging technology with teaching strategies has long been the subject of debates in many educational symposia and conference. How do teachers perceive technology in terms of its instructional effectiveness? This paper will attempt to explore the many issues and concerns relative to the effective application of technology in the classroom. Specifically, it will provide participants the basic understanding of the instructional role/functions of technology in the effective delivery of instruction.
