The quasi-experimental nonrandomized pretest-posttest group design was adopted in the study. Results showed that the academic performance of both Traditional Learning Group and Entrepreneurship-based Biology Learning Group had improved; moreover, statistical analysis of the normalized gain score showed that the Entrepreneurship-based Biology Learning Group had a significantly higher academic performance than the Traditional Learning Group. Attitudinal and motivational survey shows that the students in Entrepreneurship-based Biology Learning Group developed a very positive attitude and a very high motivation towards learning biology than the Traditional Learning Group. Integration across curriculum could develop abilities, knowledge, skills, and expertise that students could attain and be successful at work and in life. Integrating entrepreneurship in biology education has the potential of preparing individuals with adequate entrepreneurial skills and confidence as a pathway for creating and generating gainful employment. 2018-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://archium.ateneo.edu/theses-dissertations/184 http://rizalls.lib.admu.edu.ph/#section=resource&resourceid=1535933146&currentIndex=0&view=fullDetailsDetailsTab Theses and Dissertations (All) Archīum Ateneo Entrepreneurship -- Study and teaching (Secondary) Biology -- Study and teaching (Secondary) Academic achievement -- Testing High school students -- Attitudes Motivation in education.
