Hence, with the loss of sight, taking the public transportation will be one of the many challenges. In this project, the goal is to introduce a Personal Mobility Device (PMD) that can assist citizens with visual impairments within the train station. The PMD will include five necessary features with the implementation of a Raspberry Pi, camera and four ultrasound sensors to navigate within the area of the station. Finally, with three additional features incorporated into the system, the PMD can provide an effective way of transporting visual impaired citizens in the train station.
