Summary: | Many L1 and L2 studies that have examined students' response to written teacher feedback have concentrated on examining students' perception of different kinds of written teacher comments, rather than on students' ability to act on feedback. Of the studies that have examined students' ability to act on written teacher feedback, most have focused primarily on feedback on the form rather than the content of students' essays and have looked at feedback given on students' narrative and descriptive writing. This study is an attempt to fill the gap. |
