Summary: | Team-based learning (TBL) is one way of implementing active learning in classrooms that has been introduced since the 1970s. TBL employs a set of prin- ciples to produce beneficial outcomes in individual and team learning. However, the claims on the effectiveness of TBL on learning are often anecdotal, based on tradi- tion, and not evidence-based. Through statistical analysis, we can better evaluate TBL’s claims and beliefs. This paper explores the relationship between individual and team learning. Also, it examine if team performance improves throughout the modules by virtue of being conducted using TBL. |
