Description
Summary:This dissertation presents a novel dual three-phase drive circuit with the DC-biased current control method to integrate the armature windings and field windings in conventional hybrid excited motors and variable flux motors. In this dissertation, the topological structure and working principle of the dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor are analyzed theoretically. The mathematical model of the motor is built in the natural coordinate system and the dq0 coordinate system re-spectively. The space vector modulation scheme is introduced and analyzed in detail. Based on the space vector modulation scheme, the DC-biased current control method, which targets at a DC bias in the phase currents of the motor, is proposed and inte-grated with the conventional field-oriented control strategy. Besides, the simulation model of the motor system is built in MATLAB/Simulink software, and several simulation cases are designed to study the steady-state and dynamic performance of the motor system with the proposed control method. The simulation results indicate that the proposed control method is feasible and effective in the motor system.
