Description
Summary:With the majority of children being computer-literate at a young age without understanding how they work on a technical level and the increasing digitisation of many processes, programming knowledge is essential. The purpose of this project is to create a method to teach computational thinking to primary school children. This is done by creating a game that teaches and introduces children to the basic concept of loops in programming. The result is FoxCode, a simplistic block programming mobile game that teaches how to program in loops. It is both accessible and intuitive for children. However, the project has yet to be reviewed by focus groups, therefore a lot of improvements can be made.
