Description
Summary:Solar power is one of the hottest areas in energy investment right now. As we know, solar energy is “renewable energy”, a form of energy that do not become depleted and which are environment friendly and producible in most part of the world. Photovoltaic (PV) systems are used to convert light energy directly into electricity. It’s commonly known as “solar sell”. PV represents one of the most promising means of maintaining our energy intensive standard of living while not contributing to global warming and pollution. The PV system is affected by the seasonal and weather changes. So the energy store in the battery is utilized whenever PV power is insufficient. This project aims to build up one system to monitor the state of charge of multi-battery. All the data collected from each battery will be sending to the main controller by wireless communication. At the end of this report, the system of battery monitor is set up and all the data will be displayed on the computer. Besides, a software package for ADC conversion and wireless communication were also developed.
