In this attachment, the author was assigned a few tasks such as to assist the engineering support and maintenance group to carry out the migration works of existing system to new Integrated Building Management System for the airport operations. He had undergone planning, execution and handing-over stage. The author also helped to debug programs, clear viruses and maintain the workstations in his department as well as the Fault Management Centre (FMC). He would explain the problems and solutions to the clients from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and hand over the system to them by going through witness tests. Two major software products such as Niagara from Tridium and Continuum from Andover were being used to aid his migration works on Integrated Building Management System. Through this attachment, he had learnt how to deal with clients. He was tasked to program web pages, do alarm testing, communication testing as well as archiving the tested equipments.
