Summary: | This study sought to explore the learning needs of Singapore's at-risk students in the Normal (Technical) stream, in the context of an IT-enriched school curriculum. The privileged use of computers and the learning of computer-based subjects have enabled the rapid development of Normal (Technical) students' competency in computer application skills. The question of whether this special curriculum, provided through the extensive use of computers as a learning tool, had helped Normal (Technical) students overcome their academic learning problems, increased their motivation, improved their thinking habits and improved intellectual performance was examined. |
