One of the challenges facing robotics researchers is to create an interactive environment where users can create their applications easily. Current robotic systems mostly have their own proprietary languages. The programming method falls into one of the categories: textual, teach-and-play, and off-line programming. The proposed project aims to develop an Interactive Programming Environment (IPE) which integrates editing, teaching, calibration, and monitoring seamlessly.
