Description
Summary:Dyslexia is a learning difference. Children with dyslexia find it difficult to read, write, spell, comprehend written passages and articulate their thoughts even though they are smart enough and are motivated to learn. Originally, most of what is known about dyslexia came from studies conducted in English speaking countries, but it is now recognized that Asian children also experience specific difficulties in reading. In Singapore, dyslexia in reading Chinese has doubled that of dyslexia in reading English.
