This work is focused on the conceptual design, prototyping and testing of an integrated system that consist of the Microelectromechanical System (MEMs) Sensor and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to enable item monitoring. Integration of MEMs is compared with the integration of other types of sensors to determine the viability of MEMs integration.
