Summary:This report consists of one survey study and one empirical study. Both studies are conducted in the Singapore group buying industry. The survey study targets to analyze the brand awareness of Company ABC. It is a descriptive research, which shows the market position of Company ABC in this industry and also compares Company ABC with its competitors in multiple aspects. The second part analyzes the actual sales of different categories of goods sold by a Singapore company ABC from December 2010 to March 2012. This study provides strategic analysis on what categories of goods the group buying companies should choose in order to increase sales. Moreover, we also examined the effects of the social network on the sales of products or service.
