IMU-base CPR training performance evaluation

The key in improving the quality of CPR lies in the accessibility of CPR manikin that allows data collection. CPR trainee needs to know if they are using the correct CPR techniques. In this project, we will be collecting CPR performance data using inertia measurement unit. In the early phase of t...

In the early phase of the project, a thorough literature review regarding the use of APDM opal sensor, research articles regarding the conversion of acceleration data to displacement were made to have a better understanding of the project content. In the second phase of the project, the majority of the time was spent in the programming of the software interface. There were numerous challenges and setbacks due to lack of programming background. In the third phase, the author improved the functionality of the software interface and reduced accelerometer drift by means of algorithm.
