The primary objective of this project is to develop an understanding of the existing avenues for Singaporean consumers to seek redress against unethical retailers. We also aim to gain some knowledge of consumer and business attitudes toward post-purchase dissonance in Singapore. We undertook this project because we felt that too many consumers are at the mercy of retailers and lack the knowledge to protect themselves, especially against unethical ones. We believe that the consumer-business relationship can be a win-win situation for all parties concerned.
