Summary: | In this thesis, a series of enantiopure gold(I) phosphine complexes bearing one or two chiral centers have been synthesized efficiently through hydrophosphination reactions with chiral palladium(II) catalyst or template. Especially, the chiral dinuclear gold(I) diphosphine complexes display excellent cytotoxicity against the cancer cell lines and also had almost no effect on the normal human cell lines. This thesis provides an efficient approach to suppress the side effects and to improve the efficiency of potential gold-based anticancer reagents. |
