The use of an Underwater Video Camera allows fishermen to have a live view of the fishes as well as to identify potential finishing spot. However, a commercial Underwater Video Camera can be very costly. A stationary camera system with basic functions can easily cost up to a few hundred dollars. To resolve the cost issue, studies and research has been conducted to design and build a low cost Underwater Video Camera System. The camera system that was designed for this project provides live streaming capability, lighting function and rotation capability. In addition, a Bluetooth Controlled Boat was also designed and implemented to improve on the maneuverability capability. Both the camera system and boat are integrated to form a complete system. Before the implementation, a detailed research was conducted to identify the most suitable and low-cost hardware for the project. In order to save cost, hardware and components pricing was compared between various stores before it was purchased. During the implementation process, hardware and software are being tested to ensure that it meets the project and the user requirements. Issues that were surfaced from the test were troubleshot and resolved. Details of the project flow, implementation procedures, test procedures, problems encountered and solutions are covered and documented in this report.
