Summary:Employees are the valuable intangible assets of an organization. Thus, it is important that employers can identify ways to increase the effectiveness and productivity of their employees. One of the ways to do so is to understand the motivational traits and psychological contract profiles of their employees. The primary objective of this dissertation was to understand the motivational traits and psychological contract profiles of the Singaporean workforce. In addition, the study attempts to draw a relationship between motivational traits and psychological contracts.
