Investigation is done to determine suitable material and loading stratergies for liquid metal electrodes. A new design for microfluidic imedance flow cytometers using closely aligned parallel facing electodes made of liquid metal is fabricated. Aspects such as flow cytometry performance and cost is evaluted.
