Empirical study of operating efficiency of local banks vs overseas banks
In our study, a stochastic frontier analysis and the translog cost function was used to investigate the efficiency of three local banks in comparison with two foreign banks with Qualifying Full Bank license in Singapore with a pooled-data sample from 1991 to 2002.
