Based on the research model, seven research hypotheses are presented. The proposed research model and research hypotheses were empirically tested using data collected from a survey of users of a mobile service, extended Mobile Student Information Systems (eMSIS), at a Norwegian university. The findings indicate that the fitness of the research model is good. Support was also found for the seven research hypotheses. Among the factors, the personal initiatives and characteristics has the strongest influence on the intention to use eMSIS. 2014-04-01T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/9372 info:doi/10.3233/MIS-130176 https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/context/sis_research/article/10372/viewcontent/Mobile_Information_Systems___2000___Gao___Adoption_of_Mobile_Information_Services__An_Empirical_Study.pdf http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Trust context personal initiatives and characteristics mobile services acceptance model Databases and Information Systems
