Summary:Factors Related to Organizational Commitment of Supporting Staff of Humanity and Social Science Faculty Group, Chiang Mai University The independent study purposed to 1) study the intellectual repository level of supporting staffs at Humanity and Social Science Faculty Group, Chiang Mai University 2) study the relationship between personal factors, motivation factors, and hygiene factors towards intellectual repository, and 3) study the guideline to create intellectual repository of officials at the department of Humanities and Social Science, Chiang Mai University. The populations were 140 staffs from the Supporting Staff of Humanity and Social Science Faculty Group, Chiang Mai University. The data was collected by questionnaires in which the questions based on two factors theory of Frederick Herzberg (1959), and intellectual repository concepts of Allen and Meyer (1990). The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean score, and standard deviation. The analysis was compared between two independent factors (Independent – Samples T – Test). The comparison among three groups was analyzed by One – Way ANOVA and Pearson correlation analysis in order to determine the statistical analysis. The difference was found significantly at 0.5. The results found that the personal factors including educational level, work performance period, and average salary had been involved with the intellectual repository. However, gender, age, and working status had not caused any intellectual repository. Motivated factors such as work success, job opportunity and promotion, acceptance, responsibility, and job characteristics greatly effected towards the intellectual repository. Moreover, interpersonal relationship and job stability also greatly effected towards intellectual repository.
