Summary: | The purposes of this study were to compare the cardiovascular endurance and percentage of body fat between dance sport exercise in Quick step and aerobic dance. Fourty healthy females aged 20.48 ± 0.64 years, average weight 53.44 ± 10.86 kg and average height 159.10 ± 5.78 cm. were parhcipate in the study. Participants were expenierced in basic dance sport exercise in Quick step and aerobic dance but did not train regularly. They were randomly divided into two group; dance sport exercise in Quick step and aerobic dance. They were trained 3 times per week for 8 week. The cardiovascular endurance and percentage of body fat were measured before and after training. Cardiovascular endurance and percentage of body fat before and after 8 week of training in each group were analyzed using paired t – test and the mean differences between groups was analysed using unpaired t – test at p < 0.05. The results showed that cardiovascular endurance significantly increased (p<0.05) and percentage of body fat significantly decreased (p<0.05) both groups. However, these changes between two groups were not significant difference.Both dance sport exercise in Quick step and aerobic dance exercise progrance in the present shedy demonshrated to improve similarly influence the cardiovascular endurance and decreased percentage of body fat. Therefore, it can be recommend both form of exercises for females with theire preference and aptitude to exercise with Quick step or aerobic dance. |
