Bioassay-guided fractionation of the crude extract from the insect pathogenic fungus Poecilomyces tenuipes BCC 1614 led to the isolation and identification of two antimycobacterial and antiplasmodial cyclodepsipeptides, beauvericin and beauvericin A.
