Description
Summary:Power plant construction becomes such a crucial thing in the era when energy has grown into such an inevitable demand on modern human civilization. Limited natural resources become a major trigger for implementation of high-efficiency power plant. Advances in science and technology have succeeded on increasing efficiency of natural gas powered power plant by utilizing the exhaust gas energy from gas turbine exhaustion to generate steam, so a single power plant unit could have two termodynamic cycles. This kind of power plant is called Combined Cycle Power Plant. The complexity of the Combined Cycle Power Plant system, and problems like land use limitation, have made the construction of Combined Cycle Power Plant Blocks very hard. The comprehension on electical power project management becomes a must-have matter so the construction developes in an effective and efficient way despite of any technical and natural limitation. The project management method that will be used is Critical Path Analysis Method. This method is a method that utilize network model as a graphical representation of the interrelation between construction activities on the base of project work duration. The construction of Combined Cycle Power Plant on limited work area has particular problems on the construction method. Specific insight on the problems derives some distinctive construction methods. Work scenarios which are made from different construction methods sure have a very different consequences on fulfilling fundamental aspects of a project, such as time and money efficiency, process effectivitiy, keeping a low risk and high quality.

Analysis from this method will be done by referring to the possible construction scenarios. The breakdown details will be compared in three key parameters: time, cost, and risk, by consideration of a well kept quality and effectivity, except the probabilty of the very parameter intercorelation shows a different implication.
