Summary:PLTU Suralaya Unit 1-4 with a capacity of 4x400 MW is a power plant with major contribution in the Java Madura Bali (JAMALI) electricity system. The reliability operation of the plant is influenced by several factors, one of which is coal distribution system. <br /> <br /> <br /> Equipment belt conveyor BC 13 and the BC 14 is the "heart" of the coal delivery system to Unit 1-4. Failure on both of these belt conveyor will have an impact on the decrease in electricity production in the power plant. <br /> <br /> <br /> To maintain the reliability of equipment BC 13 and BC 14 is necessary appropriate maintenance strategy. Reliability-based maintenance strategy or reliability centered maintenance (RCM) on both the equipment is expected to be able to maintain their reliability. <br /> <br /> <br /> Determination of the appropriate type of maintenance: run-to-failure, preventive, predictive or proactive maintenance is intended to get the effective and efficient maintenance in terms of time and maintenance costs.
