The main objective of this study is analyzing risks in geothermal power plant project, giving priority to the risk and how to mitigate the risk. This study was done through risk management process that includes identification, measurement, and risk mitigation. The whole process was conducted in discussion with management team from PT. XYZ. The result of risk identification is list of risks exposing Ciater Geothermal Power Plant project. The risks list includes financing risk, schedule risk, credit risk, regulation risk, change in selling price, business competition risk, electricity supply and demand risk, material price risk, geosciences risk, drilling risk, natural and physical hazard, technological risk, production decline risk, environmental risk, interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and CDM risk. The next step is risk measurement by its probability and financial effect to the company, the measurement is through qualitative and quantitative techniques, from the measurement result, risks is mainly categorized in 3 groups. All risks then managed by doing mitigate act that suit with risk characteristics. The implementation plan for risk mitigation will be occurred in every step from project development through commercial phase Implementation will be done by all the project personals that related to the risks. text
