As for Indonesia, the development of culinary

industry has started from the time when it became the subsector in Creative Economics under

Indonesia Ministry of Tourism. New networks started to be involved in the industry which

lead to new opportunities. Even so, the actors in culinary industry in Indonesia are lack of

knowledge in the innovated business model which leads to the lack of collaboration between

networks. Therefore, there needs to be an analysis of the new business model based on the

network perspective.

This research used qualitative research approach by using semi-structured interview. The

interviewees of the research were the people who are felt to have implemented the networkbased

business model in the culinary industry. In this case, the interviewee were the

representative of PT. Boga Catur Rata (Kem Chicks), Juragan Kuliner, and Pesona. The

interview was held to find out the way how their network works, the business model used in

the network, and the innovation that has been implemented in the network. The result of the

analysis shows that every actor in culinary industry can collaborate with either the same actor

in the industry or other actor from outside the culinary industry. There also needs a clear

regulation of cooperation so every actor can optimally play their role and generate optimal

revenue as well.

Keywords: Business Model, Business Model Innovation, Culinary Industry, Network text
