Description
Summary:Bandung is a city that is rich in culture, traditions, and culinary heritage. Various types of food and traditional snacks in this place. Traditional food is an important component of Indonesia's culinary heritage. However, over time and a shifting lifestyle, now traditional food is starting to be forgotten and not liked anymore. This is due in part to the entry of foreign cultures which are now becoming a lifestyle or standard of living. It is feared that traditional snacks are beginning to be forgotten by the community, especially the younger generation as the most influential figure in cultural progress. The traditional food represents a country and becomes a "symbol" of the spread of its culture. Stoneware ceramics were developed for cooking utensils to reintroduce traditional snacks through new visual dishes created with stoneware materials. Which can be a new way of introducing food to the younger generation which is expected to become a local cultural identity as well as a public attraction so that later traditional food can be preserved and side by side with foods from abroad, and become a trend and lifestyle in various circles of society both in Indonesia and internationally.
