Description
Summary:Abstract:

Ready-to-be-cooked chicken may contain some residual antibacteria administered to eradicate or to prevent certain bacterial pest. Determination of these residues needs an analytical method which could determine analyte up to ppm level. In this research, the cathodic stripping voltammetry method with a hanging mercury dropping electrode as working electrode, an Ag/AgCl electrode as reference electrode,

a platine electrode as auxiliary electrode was applied to analyze residual sulfadiazine in chicken liver. Sulfadiazine in a phosphate buffer solution of pH 10 was analyzed by this method, giving the peak current at -1488 mV. This method gave a limit of detection of 0,24 ppm, as well as a limit of quantification of 0,8 ppm.
