Turnover intention is the best predictor to observe an early indication of an actual employee turnover, therefore it is important for organizations to explore factors which affecting Generation Y employees’ turnover intention. This study used mix-method research, which involved both qualitative and quantitative approach. The phenomenological study with ten informants conducted to acquire an in depth-understanding of generation Y employees’ expectations and perspective towards organization and how it influences turnover intention. The results revealed mixed responses from informants about the role of Co-worker Support affecting their turnover intention, most of them agreed that Co-workers Support is important and influential, while few others disagree. All informants unanimously agreed that Supervisor Support and Career Development opportunity played important role in their career journey and believed that the company should facilitate them with mentorship to deliver supervisor support, learning opportunities, and career path plan to ensure their career progression. Lack provision of all these would affect their intention to leave the company. The cross-sectional study (N=256) which examined the relationship between co-worker support, perceived supervisor support, and career development with turnover intention in Indonesia. Although, the result found that Co-worker Support was not significantly affects turnover intention. Perceived Supervisor Support and Career Development was found to have significant negative direct effect on Generation Y employees’ turnover intention. Business and organization need to have policies and facilitation which fulfilled all these expectations and provide them with a reason to stay loyal and oblige to higher commitment as a return from all the support given by the company. text
