DTI ITB itself needs to ensure that the services it manages can be used by the ITB academic community. In this regard, each component that supports the provision of services from DTI ITB needs to be managed. Management of configuration item (CI) components can be done with a configuration management system (CMS). Currently, DTI ITB itself does not have a CMS for managing CI components for its services, even though configuration management itself is important to help DTI ITB maintain its quality of services because this configuration process will improve the efficiency of other processes such as incident management, problems, changes, and other related processes. This final project will produce a CI data model design for configuration management that is appropriate and in accordance with the needs of DTI ITB. Problems related to the completeness, accuracy, redundancy, and consistency of CI data that currently exist in DTI ITB will also be fixed with the new data model. Several recommendations on how to manage CI are also explained in this document for the implementation of configuration management at DTI ITB, along with recommendations for adding expert staff to support this process. The configuration management design refers to the ITSM framework which is one of the concepts from ITIL and is also supported by the framework from the InfoSys Research Group as a model making guide. Evaluation of the design of the CI data model in this final project was carried out by conducting a survey of DTI ITB stakeholders to assess the suitability of the design with the actual conditions and needs of DTI ITB. The design of the CI data model is considered good and has a scale of 4.92 out of 5 in the evaluation from DTI ITB. Going forward, the design of configuration management and data migration must be carried out in more detail and accurately in accordance with the actual and complete data that ITB has, not limited by access to the data, and periodic evaluations must be carried out according to the defined metrics. text
