Description
Summary:Residual quartz sand from tin processing activities can be processed into marketable material. To do this, quartz sand mining is to be carried out in A Block, B Block, C Block, D Block, and E Block of XYZ Inc. Reserve estimation and mine scheduling are inseparable from the quartz sand mine planning. Reserve estimation determines the amount of quartz sand mined based on the optimal pit shell. Reserve estimation shows that A Block contains 4,24 million tonnes of total reserve, B Block 6,45 million tonnes of total reserve, C Block contains 16,25 million tonnes of total reserve, D Block contains 10,2 million tonnes of total reserve, and E Block contains 3,19 million tonnes of total reserve. A Block, B Block, and C Block mining is later scheduled to fulfill production target for four years for A and B Block, and also eight years for C Block.
