Description
Summary:Indonesia, with a population of over 275 million, faces significant challenges in improving infrastructure due to its archipelagic geography. The Indonesian government has been striving to accelerate infrastructure development through the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045 to support the Vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, including strengthening health infrastructure. This study focuses on accelerating the project schedule for the construction of the Mother and Child Service Center at Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung, particularly on structural works such as beams, columns, slabs, and shear walls. The aim of the research is to identify applicable acceleration alternatives and analyze their impact on the construction project schedule. The methodology used is a quantitative approach using empirical data to develop a project scheduling optimization model. The research results show that indirect costs are not significant to the optimal cost of project acceleration, with a percentage between 4-6%. The optimal scenario was found in the floor-to-floor 6-day alternative with an additional cost per day of Rp302,206,723.20 or 0.397% of the total cost under normal conditions. This study provides significant contributions to construction project management through a deductive approach and quantitative analysis, which can help practitioners and researchers improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project management.
