Summary:The aim of this research was to know the anti bacterial effect of cinnamon juice (Cinnamomum burmanii) on the total of bacterial colonies in milkfish from fishpond Kalang Anyar, Sidoharjo as the parameter. The milkfish sample were divided into 100 pieces and each sample was 5 grams. The research method was completely randomized design by using four concentration of cinnamon juice 0%, 5%, 10%. And 20% and four storage time 0 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours. The obtained data then were analyzed by KRUSKAL WALLIS and MANN WHITNEY. The results showed that the ratio hour and the concentration of cinnamon juice showed a significant at 6 hours with a concentration of 10%. Based on those result, it could be concluded that cinnamon juice affecting in decreasing total of bacterial colonies.
