Calasanz, Joanna Minerva Coloma, Chiqui Manuel, Marilou The study aims to determine the non-job related, non-verbal factor, the meanings attached to them, and the weight given by the Human Resource Personnel on each factor. The study used a descriptive research design. Data gathering was carried out through survey and interview. Chain-referral, purposive sampling was done to obtain the respondents. Analysis of data was through quantitative item analysis and qualitative cross-item analysis. The findings were that eye contact, clothing, and body language (posture) are given importance to by most HR Personnel. And that intelligence, confidence, sincerity, and personality are the meaning attached to the said factors. However, only a small percentage was given to the factors in evaluating the applicant. The study concludes that despite the weight that some factors carry upon a perceiver, these are not enough foundation or basis for hiring an applicant and that their evaluations still focus on the eligibility of the applicant which can be seen through job qualifications and company exams. 2002-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/10379 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Employees--Recruiting Employment Interviews.
