Cleto, Erwin U. Narag, Rachelle B. This study investigates the effect of humor and mode of presentation, namely, visual, audio and audio-visual on retention of two-digit numbers of students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This was done with the idea that students with ADHB would greatly benefit from the study considering the fact that humor has an attention-getting characteristic, something that educators teaching students with ADHD can greatly benefit when proven the potential of humor's use in the classroom. A mixed design was employed by having the condition presence or absence of humor as between subjects design while the modes of presentation presented via repeated measures. Factorial ANOVA was done to see whether there was a significant interaction between modes of presentation and presence or absence of humor on the stimulus. Results show that neither did presence/absence of humor and modes of presentation had an effect in increasing the attention of ADHD based on the assumption that is intervening factor in retention. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/5982 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder Attention-deficit disorder in adults Attention-deficit-disordered children Conduct disorders in children
